HackCarpathia 2026 in Rzeszów: "Bądź gotowa" takes the win
The third edition of HackCarpathia, the biggest hackathon in Rzeszów, took place in April 2026. Team CombAIns from Warsaw University of Technology won.
Not every hackathon needs a trip. HackCarpathia takes place in Rzeszów, the city where our club is based. Its third edition was held in April 2026 and is described as the biggest event of its kind in the city.
Who won
The main prize and the distinction in the Medtech category went to team CombAIns from Warsaw University of Technology. They built an app called "Bądź gotowa" ("Be ready") for teenage girls who fear their first visit to a gynaecologist.
The event was covered by local and regional media, including TVP3 Rzeszów, Polskie Radio Rzeszów and nowiny24.pl.
Why we are writing about it
HackCarpathia is a good chance to try a hackathon without travelling: everything happens right here in Rzeszów.
